Earlier this week I had the pleasure of sitting down with Ravi and Elisa from Forza Futbol to record a podcast about Sports Analytics. We discuss a whole host of topics including some of the work I haven’t had a chance to publish yet involving looking at the quality of cantera products (using the Castrol Index). Sorry to have missed last week’s podcast Sarah. Not only am I huge baseball fan, saw my first game in Havana when I was four years old with my uncle (funny how I can remember that and not what happened to me last week), but I’ve read Moneyball and have often wondered how metrics can be used to gauge football better.
